These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Matrikava Home website, products, features and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
Throughout these Terms, “Matrikava Home”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Matrikava Home.
Our online store is powered by Shopify, which provides the e-commerce infrastructure that enables us to offer our Services to you.
By visiting our website, placing an order, or otherwise using our Services, you agree to these Terms and our applicable policies, including our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Returns & Replacement Policy.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Services.
1. Eligibility and Information You Provide
By using our Services, you represent that you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under applicable law or are using the Services with appropriate consent or supervision where required.
When placing an order, you may be required to provide information including your name, email address, phone number, billing information, shipping address and payment information.
You agree that the information you provide is accurate, complete and current.
You are responsible for ensuring that the delivery address, PIN code and contact details provided with your order are correct.
2. Products
Matrikava Home is a curated home and lifestyle store.
Unless expressly stated otherwise on a product page, products offered through Matrikava Home should not be assumed to be manufactured by Matrikava Home.
We make reasonable efforts to present product descriptions, photographs, specifications and other information accurately.
However, product colours and appearance may vary slightly depending on lighting, photography, manufacturing variations, screen settings or the device used to view our website.
Product packaging, minor design details or specifications may occasionally change where such changes do not materially alter the nature or intended function of the product.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue products and to limit quantities where reasonably necessary.
3. Orders
Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase the selected product or products.
Receipt of an order confirmation does not prevent us from cancelling or declining an order where reasonably necessary, including in cases involving:
- Product unavailability
- Incorrect pricing or product information
- Payment failure
- Suspected fraud or misuse
- Incomplete or incorrect customer information
- An unserviceable delivery location
- Failure to complete reasonable Cash on Delivery verification
- Unusually high-risk or repeated orders
- Other circumstances that reasonably prevent fulfilment
If a prepaid order is cancelled by us after payment has been successfully collected, the applicable amount will be refunded in accordance with our policies and the processing timelines of the relevant payment provider.
4. Cash on Delivery
Cash on Delivery (“COD”) may be available for eligible orders and serviceable PIN codes.
A ₹50 COD handling fee applies where COD is selected and will be displayed where applicable during checkout.
To reduce fraudulent, incorrect or unwanted COD orders, Matrikava Home may use reasonable order-verification measures.
These may include confirmation through OTP, PIN, telephone, SMS, WhatsApp or another reasonable verification method.
We reserve the right to hold or cancel a COD order that cannot be successfully verified or that reasonably appears fraudulent, duplicated, abusive or unusually high-risk.
Repeated refusal of legitimate COD deliveries or misuse of COD may result in COD being restricted for future orders associated with the relevant customer information, subject to applicable law.
5. Prices and Payment
Product prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (₹) unless otherwise stated.
Prices, promotions and discounts may change from time to time.
The applicable product price is generally the price displayed when the order is placed, subject to correction of genuine pricing or technical errors.
Available payment methods may include prepaid online payment methods and Cash on Delivery where eligible.
Online payments may be processed by third-party payment service providers. Their processing systems and applicable terms may also govern the payment transaction.
We do not guarantee that every payment method will be available for every order, location or customer.
6. Shipping and Delivery
Matrikava Home currently delivers within India only, subject to serviceability.
We offer complimentary standard shipping on prepaid orders across India.
Cash on Delivery orders carry a ₹50 COD handling fee.
Orders are typically delivered within 5–10 business days from the date of order confirmation.
Delivery timelines are estimates rather than guarantees.
Delivery may occasionally be affected by courier operations, weather, public holidays, remote locations, incorrect customer information, operational disruptions or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Available tracking information will ordinarily be shared after dispatch using the contact information provided with the order.

7. Returns, Replacements and Refunds
Our products are subject to the Returns & Replacement Policy published on our website.
Eligible issues should generally be reported within 7 days of delivery.
A replacement may be considered where a product is:
- Damaged in transit
- Defective or not functioning as intended
- Incorrect compared with the item ordered
- Materially different from the product shown or described on our website
Customers may be asked to provide their order number together with photographs and/or video reasonably necessary to assess the issue.
An unboxing video may assist with transit-damage claims but is not mandatory.
We currently do not generally accept returns or replacements solely for change of mind or personal preference where the product is functioning correctly and materially matches its description.
For eligible claims, replacement is generally our first resolution.
If an eligible replacement cannot be provided because the product is unavailable, a refund may be issued in accordance with our Returns & Replacement Policy.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or restrict rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.
8. Order Cancellation
If you wish to request cancellation of an order, please contact us as soon as possible.
We cannot guarantee cancellation once an order has entered processing, fulfilment or dispatch.
If we cancel a prepaid order before fulfilment, the applicable refund will be processed to the original payment method.
9. Product Availability and Errors
Product availability is subject to change.
Occasionally, information on our website may contain typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions relating to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, availability, shipping charges or delivery estimates.
We reserve the right to correct genuine errors or inaccuracies and, where reasonably necessary, cancel an affected order.
If payment has already been collected for an order that we subsequently cancel, the applicable amount will be refunded.
10. Intellectual Property
The Matrikava and Matrikava Home names, branding, logos, original website design elements, original written content and other intellectual property owned by or licensed to us may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, commercially exploited or used without appropriate permission.
Certain product images, descriptions, trademarks or other materials may belong to suppliers, licensors, Shopify or other third parties and remain the property of their respective owners.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any intellectual property to you.
11. Customer Reviews and Feedback
If you voluntarily submit a product review, photograph, suggestion, feedback or other content to us, you represent that you have the right to provide that content.
You must not submit content that is fraudulent, misleading, unlawful, defamatory, abusive, infringing or otherwise inappropriate.
We may moderate or remove content where reasonably necessary.
Where permitted by applicable law, content voluntarily submitted for publication may be displayed in connection with our website, products and Services.

Our Services may use or provide access to third-party services, including payment processors, logistics providers, analytics services, communication tools and other technology providers.

Third-party services and websites operate under their own terms and privacy practices.
Matrikava Home is not responsible for the independent content, availability or practices of third-party websites that are outside our control.
13. Relationship With Shopify
Matrikava Home's online store is powered by Shopify, which provides the e-commerce technology that enables us to offer the Services.
Purchases made from Matrikava Home are transactions between the customer and Matrikava Home, not Shopify.
Shopify is not the seller of products offered by Matrikava Home.
14. Privacy
Personal information collected through our Services is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Because our store is powered by Shopify and uses third-party service providers, certain information may be processed by Shopify and other providers as necessary to operate the store, process payments, fulfil orders, provide customer support, prevent fraud, analyse website performance and provide related Services.

However, the website and Services may occasionally experience interruptions, errors or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the website.
